“I would like to express Chicago Public Schools continued support of the In Search of Genius Foundation.  The goals of the foundation are strongly aligned with the district's priorities to provide rich learning experiences in mathematics and science for students.  I am very enthusiastic about the In Search of Genius Foundation bringing the nationally acclaimed Science Olympiad Program to 3rd through 5th grade Chicago Public School students in the most underserved neighborhoods.  One of the most exciting components of this program is the powerful mentorship model overlay.  The implementation of this program is just one element of the foundation's broader scope of work to provide students with opportunities to discover new life skills and explore the worlds of science.  I hope the science, education and business community joins us in supporting this incredible effort to prepare high-need students for future academic and career success.”
